Duties and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

We are looking for an accountable Cashier to process all cash transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.

 Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer cash transactions using cash registers
  • Scan goods and collect payments
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
  • Redeem coupons and promotions
  • Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Keep reports of transactions
  • Bag, box or wrap packages
  • Interact pleasantly with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving store
  • Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area

Requirements:

  • 21 or over
  • Pass background check
  • Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales
  • Basic Computer knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters, etc.)

Position Summary:

If you are an outgoing and passionate Budtender who is seeking long-term employment, we’d like to consider you for our team. Our Budtenders assist our management team with the activities and operations of the store, while adhering to our policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Our Budtenders are responsible for all facets of customer service by listening well and communicating effectively with our diverse customers regarding their precise needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales and customer service through maintaining a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environment
  • Promote work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, including greeting customers warmly when they enter
  • Comply with established policies and procedures
  • Maintain product knowledge
  • Maintain and use completely and accurately Point Of Sale (POS) system for all in-store, online, and phone orders
  • Handle completely and accurately cash and discount application
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles
  • Verify proper paperwork, documentation and ID of all customers
  • Accept additional duties as assigned by Management Team

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service or retail experience preferred

  • Present professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
  • Commitment to being on time and ready to work when scheduled with reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of Cannabis preferred
  • Accommodation of scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts, as well as store location assignments
